Accutane
Accutane has been linked to suicides and has been a very controversial subject since it
was first FDA approved in 1982. The manufacturer, Hoffmann-La Roche, failed to warn of
the drug's deadly side effects. Legal actions against the manufacturer include allegations
that the company failed to fully disclose the dangers to the FDA, physicians, and patients. It
is further alleged that Accutane has caused severe birth defects.
